2014 I watched a video by “Stept Studios” when they still made ski videos. It was a “street” skiing video which I’d never heard of, but that was the most influential video of my life.

Skip to 2018. Devoted to actualizing the dreams stemming from that street video, I invited friends and peers with the same goal of making videos to create a group, later known as Keep Standing.  Merchandise and travel plans to metropolitan areas became the standard every season. Boston, NYC, Montreal, Burlington, Manchester, etc.
Our shared goal was to create videos that meant something to us. We film and ski for the love of the game.
Evidently, people ended up liking the videos, despite minimally “promoting” the films or brand. What started as a completely independent passion project among 8 people evolved into a fully funded endeavor with legal cannabis/beer/outerwear/skis company sponsors, and travel budgets.
Collaborations and events followed. We designed some soft goods apparel. We brewed and designed our own beer with Foam Brewery in conjunction with hosting our annual video premieres. Every major event we hosted ended up exceeding building capacity, thanks to people traveling from all over the country to participate.
I took the role of managing coordinator for sponsors and events. Event logistics and project management also fell onto my shoulders. Lastly, I also acted as the Host/MC during our various film premieres.
